grateful for:

-date night with this man.  He just finished a large project for work, 25 pieces of gorgeous furniture in 3 months for the Presque Isle library.  Amazingly talented man! Such a great night to celebrate him and our brother-in-laws work The Telling Room an amazing non-profit in Portland, ME!

-grandparents that take our boys to basketball practices, pick them up from the sitter at the last minute when I am commuting home from Portsmouth and for keeping them in FL for April vacation! We are very blessed :) 

-early morning fort making, holding hands, and singing with excitement!

-randomly running into friends, always great and unexpected.

-a night with an old and new friend, full of adult time, laughter and laughter!

-coming home to my boys after a long day, to a clean house and my man reading in bed.

-my two days off were fabulous and spent 100% in the sun on beaches. I loved every minute of it and am so grateful for where we live and how we spend out time!!

Grateful for:

-success updates about Henry's day.  being a toddler is tough stuff and he is thriving!

-grand parents that play with my two oldest! the big boys are having a blast, first day in NY they went sledding, swimming and played basketball!! Jealous

-making it home safe after a 2 hour and 45 minute commute in the snow.  Not able to see through my windshield most of the drive, unplowed highway (ridiculous!) and breaking both wiper blades.  My trusty car made it though and my man had dinner waiting!!!

Grateful for:

-family being a team sport! H is sick and we are playing like a team to take care of him (mostly my hubs is!).

Grateful for-

Sundays, they are my favorite day of the week. Sundays are for our little family and making memories.  I am grateful for one day a week that I know we will be together.  (every other with the big boys)

Sundays filled with sunshine and hikes with these three (missing the big boys tho)

Sometimes she listens and stops for a moment.... only sometimes though. she may add some stress to the pack but we love her!

Grateful for - 

-  Friday night date night, at home with my man, wine, good beer, favorite pasta dish, and cribbage!

- having the little man sprint to me as soon as I open the front door after a long day of work. 

- Paul Simon radio for my long car rides! I mean really come on it is so dreamy :) Paul Simon, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel and on and on!! fantastic

Grateful for 

The most thoughtful amazing 8 year old son I could ever imagine!! He worked day and night to create a rainbow loom of my favorite animal - The dolphin!! 

My heart melted, burst and grew even more that day! 

-being ok with making a feast for breakfast before school and having them only eat the Mango!! I got to eat the rest :) 

-a kiss from my man when it is still dark out and he is off to work.  We dont get to chat in the morning but a kiss speaks 1000 words

-beautiful night skies, our world is truly an amazing place that I am so grateful to be a part of!

I am Grateful for - 

Surprise Root beer Float from my main squeeze after putting the little's to bed! 

This happened first thing to celebrate the little's and I's snow day!!!! mmmHmmm

Early morning Fort building!! It stayed up all day, may have caused some fights, but for the most part made us all smile!

I got to hang out with Sprider-man ALL day! PS that mask makes noise and talks!

We DID IT!! The H-man has his first big boy hair cut!! It was hard for us, but worth it! He is changing and growing SO much right now, it just fits.

Gratitude Lately - VAP

Grateful for -

 I came down with a fever, sore throat and migraine this past Saturday!! This was brutal and rare.  I am beyond grateful for my husband who took care of me and was so patient. For stepping outside briefly to get a little fresh air.  Sleeping head to head with my man even though he could catch the plague.

For bed snuggles and entering the wonderful world of the Wild Things!
